Ancient memories follow ancient pathways, we humans talk about the legendary long memories of elephant. The matriarchs have long memories, they patiently and protectively guide their family through feast and famine along uncharted routes, Aunties helping to care for the babies, unerringly leading them to nourishment, water and safety; passing these gifts on to the young who in turn become future Pathfinders. Sometimes we humans too need a Pathfinder, someone trusted, wise beyond their years, patient and kind to help guide our way to a place of shelter, succour and safety."
